Position Title: On-Site Shred Operator

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Compensation:  $22 to $26/hr. (no benefits offered)

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, Our On-Site Shred Operator provides exemplary customer service while conducting scheduled on-site shredding to the residential and business clients of Altitude DocuShred. This position requires an individual who will consistently perform daily responsibilities in alignment with Altitude DocuShred’s unwavering commitment to 100% customer satisfaction. All employees are expected to strengthen the company mission by exhibiting prompt, safe and courteous service. This requires an individual who exhibits a high level of problem-solving and critical thinking skills; one who can communicate effectively, and complete work efficiently with minimal supervision. Additionally, this position requires a team player who will represent Altitude DocuShred with the utmost professionalism, dependability and trustworthiness.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

70% - Driving and on-site shredding:

  1. On-time completion of daily scheduled shredding services to residential and business clients.
  2. Emptying of shred material at recycling and landfill facilities at the completion of the day.
  3. Requires ability to up to 100 pounds, while bending, and climbing stairs. Essential to have full vision and hearing.

10% - Basic truck maintenance

  1. Communicating in a timely manner with Altitude DocuShred’s Director of Operations regarding any technical/maintenance issues with the truck and/or shredding machinery.
  2. Ability to assess and troubleshoot unforeseen technical/maintenance issues with the truck and/or shredding machinery while on-site.

20% - Customer Relations

  1. Supporting sales and marketing efforts by building and maintaining positive, professional, and trusting relationships with clients and prospective clients.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Colorado Driver’s License with no major driving violations

Must pass a national background check and drug test
